As per the directives of the Directorate General of Shipping vide DGS Circular 18 of 2020, dated 24.04.2020, all students who has successfully completed the 4 year B.Tech degree course in Marine Engineering (pre-sea training) from K.M. School of Marine Engineering, CUSAT; and has successfully completed the Structured shipboard training programme as a Trainee Marine Engineer (shipboard training) for a period not less than 6 months as part of approved training programme for the pre-sea course, are entitled to apply for their Course Completion Certificate.

This Certificate will be issued to the eligible candidates only after the assessment of their “Training and Assessment Record” (TAR) book and other relevant documents.

Copies of following documents must be submitted to KMSME along with the duly filled in application form.

• Printout of duly filled in application form
• Passport
• Relevant pages of CDC
• Seafarer profile printout
• Degree certificate
• Sea time certificates from ship
• E receipt for SB collect payment

Onboard TAR book (Part 1 & Part 2(if applicable)) along with the Project work report in Original, Sea time certificates and CDC shall be produced to KMSME at the time of Assessment.
