Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), re-accredited by NAAC with A+ grade is organizing this third edition of SASTHRAYAAN to showcase the vibrant and active research activities carried out in its various departments. The state-of-the-art facilities available in CUSAT will be exhibited with live demonstrations, working models and presentations. Students who are especially interested in Science and Engineering fields will get a valuable exposure on various cutting-edge research areas. Multiple exhibition stalls will be arranged at CUSAT Seminar complex along with illuminating visits to numerous research laboratories and departments in CUSAT campus.

KMSME conducts a regular batch of B.Tech Marine Engineering programme since its inception in 2003. This course is approved by AICTE and Directorate General of Shipping. It is a four year (eight semesters) compulsorily residential academic programme run at CUSAT, Kalamassery. The intake capacity is 80 and like any other engineering programme the students should have completed their Plus Two course with Science and Maths subjects.

Upon completion of the course, they are expected to join Merchant Navy vessels operated around the world as a Junior Engineer. This career demands utmost discipline, dedication and good attitude along with the technical knowledge and skills. The course at KMSME is designed and conducted to mould the future Marine Engineers. The career at sea is a lucrative, rewarding and offers many such fringe benefits.

In order to make the students aware about the course and other programmes run at CUSAT, we are open on 23rd, 24th and 25th January 2023.
