About Us
Kunjali Marakkar School of Marine Engineering (KMSME) is a marine college located in Cochin, Kerala, India. Located on the Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) campus, KMSME started its first batch of 4-year B-Tech marine engineering programme in 2003. It is the only marine engineering training institute that is under the direct control of a government university.
Our Mission
The mission of KMSME is to develop a full fledged marine engineering campus with effective and adequate infrastructure all facilities, well qualified and experience teachers and other staff and meeting all the international standards for conducting various marine engineering and related courses aligning with the corporate mission and vision of CUSAT.

To mould future Marine Engineers compentent enough to cater to the technological needs of this unique profession.To maintain social , ethical ,environmental and high calibre of technological know - how in our Marine Engineers. To provide all possible and sufficient facilities for marine engineering studies within the campus itself. To encourage any innovative ideas in the field of marine engineering which will help the shipping industry and the nation.
