WELCOME TO KMSME
Kunjali Marakkar School of Marine Engineering (KMSME) is started with a precise vision of creating expert marine engineers who can cope up with the demands of the ever-growing shipping industry. It is the only marine engineering training institute in india, which is under the direct control of a state owned university. This department functions under the aegis of the Directorate General of Shipping, Govt. of India, Mumbai. Located in the heart of Cochin University campus, KMSME started its first batch of 4 year B.Tech marine engineering programme in 2003.The presence of various departments in the Cochin University, which even have their own strong research wings, enable the students to acquire profound knowledge in every topic as they wish. |
MISSION
The Mission of KMSME is to develop a full fledged marine engineering campus with effective and adequate infrastructural facilities, well qualified and experienced teachers and other staff and meeting all the international standards for conducting various marine engineering and related courses aligning with the corporate mission and vision of CUSAT. |
