From the very dawn of the institute, we have been consistent in producing and delivering seaworthy marine engineers to the global maritime industry. Then and now, we provide our cadets, who successfully complete the course. And for consecutive years, we have achieved this goal, and have hit the benchmark of 100% placements.

HOW DID WE MAKE IT?

1. We follow a career-oriented pedagogical approach that engages young cadets from throughout the course completion.
2. A strong alumni network: Our Alumni network boasts 1000+ active sailors currently sailing across the world with various reputed companies, who strive to induct their juniors into the career
3. An independent placement cell: We have a dedicated placement cell, formed by cadets, alumni, and faculty members, who strive to bring the best of the best maritime companies to the campus. We also receive direct support from the placement cell of CUSAT.
4. Transparent selection procedure: Cadets are shortlisted for campus selection purely based on their academic merit and the requirement of the company.
5. Placement-oriented training: Once a cadet is shortlisted, they are given special classes to crack the tests.
6. Mock interview: Mock interviews are conducted on a regular basis and cadets are encouraged to improve their skills using constructive criticism.
7. Networking: Special sessions are conducted where the cadets who attended the interviews share their experiences with their batchmates and juniors. This helps them to identify the pitfalls and familiarize themselves with the process altogether.
